Arab Orthodox Benevolent Society
Supporting the Community in Difficult Times

Most residents of Beit Jala faced extremely difficult economic and financial circumstances during that period and for many years thereafter, prompting waves of migration around the world in search of livelihoods to support their families remaining in Beit Jala. At that time, the Society was overseen by the Arab Orthodox Benevolent Society who personally visited those in need and provided assistance to the extent possible within available resources.
