The spirit of giving and solidarity is deeply rooted in the community of Beit Jala, where individuals and institutions have long supported those in need. However, the uncoordinated distribution of aid by multiple parties has led to challenges such as duplication of efforts, missed opportunities to reach the most vulnerable, and a lack of efficiency in targeting assistance.
To maximize the benefits of charitable work and ensure aid reaches its rightful recipients fairly and transparently, the Arab Orthodox Benevolent Society of Beit Jala (AOBS) has been officially mandated as the sole entity responsible for managing and distributing charitable assistance in Beit Jala. This decision has been endorsed by all local institutions and stakeholders to ensure aid is distributed through an organized and effective framework.
Because giving makes a difference ... Let your donation reach those who truly need it.
Join us in building a stronger, more compassionate community.
As part of the effort to organize and improve the efficiency of charitable work in Beit Jala, all local institutions and associations have officially agreed to delegate the Arab Orthodox Benevolent Society (AOBS) as the sole official entity responsible for managing and distributing humanitarian aid.
This mutually agreed code ensures the adoption of best practices in aid distribution, accurate targeting of the most vulnerable groups, and avoidance of randomness and duplication.
