Beit Jala city lost more than 14,000 Dunoms of its lands (50%) of its lands to Jerusalem city and settlements such as Gilo and Har Gilo. Moreover, the segregation Wall confiscated more than 4,800 dunoms and is threatening to confiscate additional lands from Beit Jala city.
The Israeli Occupation has also confiscated more lands in Beit Jala City to build the Bypass road # 60, which links Gush Etzion settlements, south-west of Bethlehem city, and Har Homa settlement with Jerusalem settlements, as well as the tunnel road.
